Riley Template - Error Message

Hi ciaran,

just bought the Riley template. After installing and calling the homepage I get this error message:

CANNOT ACCESS PROTECTED PROPERTY JOOMLA\CMS\MENU\MENUITEM::$PARAMS

I think, I have the template for Joomla! 3, but need the template for Joomla! 4.
Can you help me?

So you have a Joomla 4.0.x installed?
If so, then it looks like you have installed/bought the template riley for Joomla version 3...
In your Template Downloads you can see whether this is version 3 or version 4 (the template version for J4 says it, the template version for J3 just says the template name)

Unfortunately I bought the template version for Joomla 3, although I need the one for Joomla 4.
Is there a possibility to swap?

Hi ciaran,

I have the same problem. Do I get a version for Joomla 4 as part of the lifetime update or do I have to buy all my purchased templates again.
