Revelation template image frames

Image frames appear differently in positions user7-12 than in positions user1-3. The frame seems off a little on the top for 7-12.

I am using custom html models in all those positions. Example below.

Also, how can I add an image without using a template image frame?

This appears to be the CSS3 image hover markup you are using, may I suggest using the following extension instead to add your images http://www.joomla51.com/extensions/ccs3-image-hover-module.

You can add an image without the default frame by using the following..

<img src="/yourimage.png" style="padding:0px;">
