Using Polaris template (http://aspectelectricalltd.co.uk/) but cannot get the responsive options to work or the Social Media to work.

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
We get the follow error when we attempt access your site..
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.
Note that I would strongly recommend upgrading to Joomla 3.x. Joomla 2.5 has a number security issues. For this reason we have stopped updating our 2.5 templates and can only offer minimum support.
