Dear Cianan,

Is is possible to have a page on Renovate template that is not linked to any article and shows only active modules? Or is there a way to go around that?

Thanks,
Mai

Hi Mai

Not sure if I understand what you are asking. You wish to have a page that is not accessible by any link on your site? A hidden menu link?

I think you got what I mean.
For more details, I actually don't want the page to be linked to any of the menu link options available as there is no option to use only modules for a page;

For example, the home page, I need it to display the upper menu, slideshow, and some other modules on the top and bottom areas. Here is an example of how it looks like right now as I had to link it to a single article while I actually don't need that part!

Hello

To remove the article/component area of your template completely try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters.

#container_main {
display: none;
}

Presuming you wish to use this area on other pages of your site, you will need to create a separate template style specifically for your homepage to which you will add the above CSS. For details on creating multiple template styles please check out the following tutorial... http://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/creating-multiple-template-styles
