I have loaded the sample data, and there are 3 articles in a module which shows the author info etc, I have disabled this in the articles option but they are still showing, any help please

Hello

Try disabling this info within your homepage menu item rather than within the articles.

Failing that you can hide using some CSS...

    display: none !important;

}
