Hello Ciaran ,
In J51_Madison There is a "Header Gradient Color" I tried to Put in

I do not want this Gradient, I tried a few things..... but would like to know WHAT WILL WORK!!!

}

But that did not work

Hi Patrick

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

#container_header {

    background-image: none;

}
