When I create a read more link it works well with articles in the blog. But not on # main. The editor shows the dotted red line but nothing on the frontend.

Hello

I am not sure if I understand your query. Would you have a URL to an example of the issue?

Thanks Ciaran,

you find it in:
https://pilarz.consulting/index.php?view=form&layout=edit&a_id=101&return=aHR0cHM6Ly9waWxhcnouY29uc3VsdGluZy8=

I used different editors, but the same result. I´m wondering why the "read more" link doesn´t work but the "next page". I tried to use this as workaround, but then there appears an useless additional menu in the same position, I can´t hide.

Hi Wolfgang

The URL provided appears to give us a 403 error.

Hi Ciaran,

The URL is :
https://www.pilarz.consulting/index.php?view=form&layout=edit&a_id=101&return=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cucGlsYXJ6LmNvbnN1bHRpbmcv
but you have to login first as superuser of pilarz.consulting. I did send you the admin access 3 weeks ago.
The problem with "read more" still exists - now I created page breaks, but these are less user friendly.

Hi Ciaran,
please could you give me feedback: is it or will it be possible to create a "read more button" in articles within Layla-moduls others than blog-moduls?
Merci, Wolfgang

Hi Ciaran,
you will see the problem in:
https://www.pilarz.consulting/index.php?showall=1
It is not possible to create a "read more button" for the article "Strategisches Sparring, wozu?"
The same problem exists with other articles - except blog modules.
I did mail you the access codes.
Merci
Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang

Just to confirm that this is a template related issue, could you try enabling one of the default Joomla templates (Cassiopeia) and see if the issue still exists?
