Random module caches in spite of disabled cache

hello.

I 've searched for 'cache' and 'caching' but nothing found (title).

The site us running with the joomla standard cache method. The random images module is set to sidebar-a. The image is only random after clearing cache. Modul cache option is set to 'no caching'.

This issue applies to the standard banner module, too.
Template is Resonate.

Hello

Sorry to say I do not believe this to be a template related issue. Are you having the same issue when using one of the default Joomla templates (Protostar)?

It did not rotates with protostar, too.
I didn't expect that. All settings are the same like many other websites. Joomla Cache is enabled, module Cache is disabled.
Even Bruce Banner is not rotating.
