I have a website built with the Rendezvous template but now that I just want to add some blank pages without module positions, I am getting all of the text showing up on the approximately left 1/3 of the page.

If I publish the page as a module in breadcrumbs the same text looks fine.

I am using Joomla 2.5.

Am I missing something on why the article page is not displaying correctly. The page is behaving like a left side module position.
