Just purchased a subscription and downloaded the Nocturne template for use on a new site.
I really would like the Nocturne template up and running - along with the demo content as provided by Joomla51.

I'm running into some problems when I load the site with the Noctune DemoInstaller - J30

After installing Nocturne Demo Installer -J30, I see Joomla version is 3.0.3. I attempt to update Joomla using the built in Joomla update - and I get a Internal Error 500 from the server.

Next, I tried to update the site after installing the Akeeba Admin plugin - that worked - 3.1.5 installed, Joomla update itself was still broken - now complaining about:
"PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in D:\inetpub\vhosts\mydomainnamehere.ca\httpdocs\administrator\components\com_joomlaupdate\models\default.php on line 78"
Along with that, I now started getting "Error: The template for this display is not available." on several pages with the admin panel of Joomla.

Next, I wiped out the install and database and installed full version Joomla 3.1.5. Works fine. No issues. Then uploaded the Nocturne template and accompanying extensions. All worked fine - no issues. Just no demo content, of course.

Next, I wiped that out and tried a reload of Nocturne Demo Installer -J30. Same issue as before - Joomla's built in update was broken when using the update menu option.

Next, I tried a manual overwrite of the update files for 3.1.5 from Joomla - overwriting the 3.0.3 installation. And again, the Joomla update feature is broken, and the "Error: The template for this display is not available" messages have returned.

It seems Joomla really doesn't want to be updated by anything other than its own internal update function. I'm fine with that.

But what I need is an up to date 3.1.5 install, fully functional, with the demo content that comes with that gorgeous Nocturne template!

Help!

Can the J30 demo content be packaged and applied as a separate installation routine?
Can the Nocturne Demo Installer J30 be rebuilt with the full Joomla 3.1.5 (stable) install along with the Nocturne theme and demo content?

Please advise!

FYI - Joomla is being loaded on an IIS server running MySqli (as detected by the installer).
