I just put a search module in the breadcrumb position and made it float:right. The breadcrumb module is set to float:left. See here:

But now I can't access the search module on the home page. The button works but I can't access any text:

There must be a quick fix for this, thanks!

Hello

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

#container_top3_modules {
z-index: 1;
}
