Privilege- Adding Text to Showcase Slider Image in

Hello Ciaran,

I'm designing with Privilege.. I'll ask this just anyway although I don't think I can. Can I add text to a Showcase Slider Image. I'm only using one image, no sliding.. but I'd like to add text over it. I forget what this is called. Adding a button would be nice too. Thanks

Hi April

Sorry to say this option is not available with our J51 Slideshow module. As it is a single image one option would be to simply Photoshop the text over your image.

Thanks.. yes that's what I have been doing.. Just thought I'd try.. but there's a button I wanted to add on top.. Can I create a link for the image I wonder? Then no matter where they click it will take them to my ecommerce site.. Thanks

Hello

As it is a single image consider using a 'Custom HTML' module for your image to which you can add your link.

Hello Ciaran,

Because I have the text created with the image using Photoshop.. Is there a way to hide the text, or display the text for SEO purposes. I want this to be found .. but not sure where else to use it. It's been a few years .. but i remember there was some way to hide text .. associated with a website. Does this sound familiar? Thanks
