Polaris template is not fully compatible with chrome even the demo site is not fully compatible.
the modules below the slideshow don't show the text when you hover the mouse cursor over them, but it does work in Internet Explorer.

May I ask what version of Chrome you are using?

The GridGallery will should as you see it in IE in all browsers that fully support CSS3 including up to date versions of Chrome.

Would you have a URL to an example of your GridGallery as we are unable to replicate your issue on the template demo?

I am sorry to say we are still unable to replicate this issue on the link provided. The GridGallry on your site is working correctly with the text showing on hover (Google Chrome - Version 32.0.1700.76).

I'm having the same problem with the j51_gridgallery. On both Firefox 27.0.1 and Chrome Version 32.0.1700.107 m, the text sliders do no work on a roll-over... This happens even on your own demos http://demo.joomla51.com/?theme=Polaris ... works fine with Explorer and Safari

Hello

As we are still unable to replicate this issue this suggestion is a bit of a shot in the dark but could you try replacing the following in your modules default.php (../modules/j51_gridgallery/tmpl/default.php - line115)..

<ul class="grid effect-8" id="grid">

With..

<ul class="grid">

Thanks...gave it a try, but that didn't help. It appears to be computer specific, as It works in Chrome and Firefox on some PCs and not others, but I can't figure out what is causing it.
