Hello,
I have a Spanish-English web. I have assigned both ES and EN main menus to module position hornav, and added the tag id "moomenu" to them. Also I have duplicated the main menu modules and assigned them to hornav-mobile position, and added the tag id "mobile" to each.
However when I reduce my browser to mobile size or use my mobile phone to access my web, the main menu, which is correctly displayed as responsive, won't change into EN when I change language from the language switcher module. Furthermore, if in English, the responsive menu item's won't display their target content. Instead I get messages such as "There are no contents in this category" or item not found.
Can see my web here
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Juan

Thank you Juan

Your mobile menu should be now appearing correctly. As your mobile menu is generated from the templates parameters, we created a second style of your template and assigned this to your English menu items. Within this style we set the hornav menu to 'Menú Principal Inglés'.

Thanks Ciarán,
Perfect now. Excellent support!
One more question about languages and main menu. May be this goes beyond your support policy, as there is a third party tool involved. If so, do not hesitate to let me know. I will understand.
I have Phoca Download installed to manage a small collection of pdfs. I created a menu item for registered users, which shows up when logged in from the frontend. This menu item is set to display all the phoca downlad categories. When I click the menu item I get all categories displayed in the component area. So far so good. But, when I click in a category in order to browse its documents, then the web's main menu disappears, both for English and Spanish. Surprisingly, if I set the menu item as public access the main menu will remain even when I click in an individual category.
You think you can help? If so, this is the menu item
When prompted for login:
usr: prueba
pwd: prueba

Thanks in advance,
Juan

Hi Juan

Presuming I understand you correctly you will need to create an access level for just your registered users. By default the 'registered' access level also includes the 'public' user group which is why your 'public' module is also appearing for logged in registered users.

Hi Ciarán,
Going back to post #8986 in this thread, I realize that, scaled down to mobile size, the web displays both the mobile-type menu and the hornav bar.
You can see my web here
Any help?
Regards,
Juan
