Hello,
I receive red letter warnings from Joomla on my J51 websites: I should upgrade to php 7.1.

J51 websites go up to 7.0.33. When I set the php version to 7.1 in my hosting account, the J51 websites do not work anymore. I receive an error notification. When I switch back to 7.0 on my hosting account, the sites work again but I keep receive the Joomla warnings. My hoster (Neostrada in The Netherlands) tells me this a database issue of the template.

One of my websites is https://wouterturkenburg.nl based on the Novah template (latest version).

What can I do to upgrade to php 7.1 and keep the website running?

je zult ook de nodige 'scripts' in php7.1 moeten aanvinken ofwel gelijk zetten aan 7.0.33. Daarna werkt alles naar behoren. Is niet gelegen aan J51 template maar aan de wijze waarop de upgrade naar een hogere php versie is weergegeven

Waar zitten die "nodige 'scripts' " ? Ik neem aan ergens in de template?

En begrijp ik het goed dat wanneer ik klaar ben met het 'aanvinken' of het zetten op 7.0.33, ik vervolgens bij de provider over kan gaan naar 7.1?

Neostrada werkt met cpanel en hoe je daarin de nodige libs/extensions aan kan zetten weet ik niet. ik werk onder DirectAdmin.
als ik daarin kies voor de php selector dan kan ik kiezen welke libs/extensions in draaiend wil hebben. als je alles dan gelijk zet aan de oudere php versie dan werkt je template zonder problemen, het zit namelijk niet in je db. Neostrado geeft een verkeerde uitleg. Waarschijnlijk staat memcache e.d niet aangevinkt.
Je melding van oude php versie komt van joomla zelf en geeft aan dat de ondersteuning van die php versie afloopt en dat je naar een andere versie moet gaan. Zelf draai ik op php7.2 na update vanwege de melding
