I'm wondering if it is possible to set the width of the template based on percentages rather than just pixels? This way on wider screens the template will adjust properly. For example I would like to have the width 96% so that both smaller screens and big screens will be able to see sites as they should be. It seems like most sites these days do this basic feature.

I do very much like this template and appreciate the work put into it. :cheer:

Hi

For the top menu navigate to Extensions -> Module Manager -> New -> Menu and set the module to the 'hornav' module position. Also set the 'Always show sub menu items' to 'Yes' and the 'Menu Tag ID' to 'moomenu'. Further details on setting up this menu are included in the Template Install Guide packaged with your template.

For the side menu navigate to Extensions -> Module Manager -> New -> Menu and set the module position to 'sidecolumn'.

Hi, Thank you for your Answer.
I have 2 question, I would be grateful if you answer them.
Please look at the following picture;
How can I make number 1?
How can I remove number 2(just the name)?

Hi.. To create this module on our demo we used Joomlas default 'Custom HTML' module. Navigate to Extensions -> Module Manager -> New -> Custom HTML.

Hi, Im also a newbee to this and struggled exact about his.

I guess you are using joomla 2.5.1. The menu items are no more auto-published.
create your menue, and then go into modules to publish your menue.
choose "hornav" for the position.
For positions in the oxigen template look here: http://demo.joomla51.com/0072/index.php/module-positions

Appreciate the reply. I'll have to look into it. I'm by no means a css expert but know some stuff. I figured perhaps the template would have a repeating image horizontally like many templates out there. I'm glad you mentioned the images that I need to mod for this, I tried editing the template with firebug (temporary changes) to experiment with it which I ended up with the results you mentioned above.

Perhaps some time later this week I'll experiment with this. B)

Hi

Unfortunately considering how this template is structured it is not possible to change the width of the template wrapper with CSS alone which would need to be the case to achieve what you suggest. The border surrounding the content area is image based so although you can change the width of the wrapper your content will then extend beyond the surrounding border. So to change the width of the template you will also need to extend the width of the following images...

http://demo.joomla51.com/0072/templates/j51_oxygen/images/hornav.png
http://demo.joomla51.com/0072/templates/j51_oxygen/images/content_bg.png
http://demo.joomla51.com/0072/templates/j51_oxygen/images/base_bg.png

Not the anwser you were hoping I'm sure but I hope it explains the limitations of the template.
