Over riding current template with new template

Hello.. I'm thinking about purchasing a new template to replace my current template that I've been designing forever. Do you offer a tutorial of how to override my current template. I have not published the site yet. But, I'm hoping it can be an easy process.

Hello.. my site is not published yet.. and I have not decided just yet .. I have a couple of templates I have purchased, but thinking about purchasing another.. does that matter? I'm using privilege so I guess I'd have to resubmit content and images on the new template. I think I should finish this one and then switch designs. Also I have a blog on google blogger that I'd like to change templates..transition from Google ... http://www.familycourtfriday.com

Joomla, in general, makes it quite easy to switch between templates. The area that will give you the most amount of work would be the change in module positions. Each of your modules will need to be assigned to the module positions of the new template. Also rebranding your template (add your logo etc.)

Other than that, switching templates should be relatively easy.

Sorry to say at present we do not have a tutorial on this subject. We will certainly consider writing such a tutorial in the future.
