Good day Ciaran,

On the J51_novation template, I was wanting to add some css and js file for this plug-in called Hotspotter Map.

On the back end I can see all the existing files with the template, but not sure how to add these for the plug-in to work. They do make a recommendation here, but not sure if that would be the cleanest way. You assistance in the proper way to do this would be much appreciated.

And would your recommendation work for the new 3.x as well?

Thanks! Have a great day!

Hi Drew

The suggested tutorial would be the correct way of adding your javascript and would be compatible with the latest versions of Joomla.

The CSS for your extension can be added to the end of your templates nexus.css (../templates/j51_novation/css/nexus.css).

Ensure that jQuery is not loaded by the extension as this is already loaded by Joomla.
