I need to change the font color, as seen in the image. The current font is too dark and I need to make the font lighter on both mouse over and mouse off.

Hi Jeffrey

What module position of the template have you placed this menu?

These are all in the Top3a,b,c,d,e positions.

Also notice that the menu title, Towns County has dropped a line down for unknown reason. I deleted this module and created a new one yet it still shows up dropped down a single line. .

also here is the web site... http://blueridgegamountaincabins.com/

Same site:::

I have a question regarding the actual html code for the web site.
I noticed in the source code, http://blueridgegamountaincabins.com/ does not start at the top of the page, but down on line 11. I have read this can hurt with search engine rankings. Do you have any suggestions or input?

Hello

Could you try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters where #FFFFFF is your new menu item color...

.top-3 .module ul.menu a, .top-3 .module_menu ul.menu a {
color: #FFFFFF;
}

Regarding the white space at the top of your HTML may I suggest setting us up with temporary FTP access to the template folder of your Joomla installation and we can see if there is anything we can do to remove this.

Hi Jeffrey

The whitespace has been removed from above your doctype as requested.
