Hi Ciarán,
Is there a way of changing the background colour of some of my articles without affecting the overall background colour? I don't want to change the background colour so creating another style will not assist me, I only want the section colour changed where the acticle is not the whole background.
Thank you

Hi JoomlaGirl

Presuming I understand you correctly you can create a new style of your template with the alternative background colour and then apply this style to the menu items of your choice.

To do so navigate to your templates parameters (Extensions -> Template manager -> J51_Nocturne - Default) and click 'Save as Copy'. You can then edit this style to your own taste and apply it to the menu items of your choice via the 'Menu Assignment' tab.

Hi Ciarán,

Thank you yes, I have a custom style in place and am happy with the colours. What I want to do is have the background of some articles say purple and for others have the background of an article say white. Is this possible?

Thank you

Hello

Would you have a URL to your site where you can detail for me the area of the template which you wish to change?
