Since the update to Joomla 4, the menu is no longer displayed on Moblien devices.
I use the Ashley Template.
What do I have to do to fix the problem?

Hello,

sorry, the website runs on my NAS,
it can only be accessed in the internal network.

Hello

It is difficult to say what may be the issue without access to the site. Are you getting any console errors?

Hello,

no there are no Errors.
I have now noticed that when I open the page on the PC in the browser, it appears normally (with a menu), but as soon as I reduce the window to a certain size, the menu also disappears.

Ennclose a picture of the site.

Hello

Unfortunately, the menu of the template "Ashley" still doesn't work on mobile devices,
do I have to buy the template for joomla4 again or do I get an update from 3 to 4?

Yes, but you can reduce the price with an upgrade coupon.

Hello,
I do not know if this helps and I do not know how you upgrade to Joomla 4 but maybe my way can help or give an idea of a solution.
If I upgrade to J4, I deactivate the J51 J3 template first.
Then I do the normal upgrade process with deinstalling components that are not available for J4, deinstall languages like German etc.
If the red items on the upgrade info are reduced to the J51 template than I upgrade.

After a successful upgrade I delete the whole HTML folder in the template under templates/j51_ashley/

Then I install the J4 version of the template and re-activate it and set it to standard.
If you have done overwrites in the HTML folder, you perhaps can save them locally and reintegrate them after the template upgrade.
But keeping the HTML folder often causes problems, because this files are kept in an upgrade (keeping the files in html folder while upgrading a template is essential for overwrites).

Maybe this can fix your problem. Just delete the HTML folder, and reinstall the J4 version of the template. But do not forget to do a backup before!

Regards
Oliver

Hi Götz

If Oliver's suggestion does not work, could you please provide a URL to an example of the issue and I will examine this further.

Hi Ciaran,

the website runs on my NAS and is only accessible internally and not externally.
Therefore, unfortunately I cannot provide a link.
From what I've researched so far, it's like Chris wrote: I have to purchase the template for Joomla 4 again, but I get a discount.

I'll test this approach when I get the chance, but at the moment it's enough for me if the site only runs in the desktop version.

Many thanks for the help
