Hi
I am well aware that currently almost all the templates are of the type to display large photos, while I rather seek to give more informative content (suffice to take a look at the presentation of much of J51 templates)
However, is there a way to reduce the huge blank space above the module content in the standard_module_outline
See my problem in the attachment
Thanks

Hi Rolf,
Thank you for your fair comment.
My note was more of a general observation, were the current templates are full of photos, with very little room for text. See higher my very first entry about this subject.
I have seen your "Some Custom CSS" at https://www.joomla51.com/forum/skylar-j4-some-custom-css-for-the-public
It's absolutely beyond my skills,
Regards

Hi Jean-Pierre
May I give an answer to your request? IMHO it is not possible for a template designer to deliver a perfect template for everyone. You want some less whitespace here, another user wants more whitespace before a heading, a third one want something else. If you want that, you need a template of your own; this can be done of course, but at a much higher price.
If you want to use a standard template and would like to have an individual website, you will need to create some custom CSS of your own. This is not easy at first, but your browser's devtools are your friend. It took me a while, before I was able to do basic CSS changes. But I learned, and now I can do a lot of magic for my websites. Although I'm still way from perfect.
Just one additional information: The custom.css of my most important website has well over 600 lines.
Regards

Hello Ciaran,
It works perfectly, thanks a lot
But it's a shame that all these adjustments are not integrated into the template settings
Look at the forum; everyone is looking for things like this.
Aniway, Regards

Thank you
To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....
(edit to taste)

Hello Ciaran
This is not an issue of Nina template,
From my point of view, It's a recurring problem on all recent templates: lots of images, very little text, and a lot of space between the content of the modules
How to adjust the space around the content of the modules at will?
Note: I have already added this to my custom css
/* Custom code pour diminuer le blanc au-dessus du contenu */
.maincontent {
padding: 10px ;
}
I need something similar for the modules
