New versions extensions

Hello,

I'm using the template Habitat since 2014. I do regurlaly some updates to Joomla and components.
Last I saw that there were new versions of the J51 extensions like J51icons etc.. I downloaded them and installed J51 icons. But then the layout changed something. By example: the fade function disappeared.

Is is necessary to use the newest version of the J51 extensions? Like for safety.
Or can I still use the versiosn from the installation in 2014?

And is there a newer version from J51 grid gallery. I can't find this extensions on your website.

Hi Kees

To date we have had no need for a security update for any of our module extensions so you should have no issues using older versions of a module.

The styling of our GridGallery module varies slightly from template to template so there is no universal update available. To ensure the latest module is installed simply redownload your template and install the bundled GridGallery module via your extensions manager.
