The template Natalie has a module J51 News. There you can make a link with read more. Now we want the 'read more' to start on a new page. How can we do that

Hello

Your best option would be to create an override for your news modules. If you are not familiar with creating module overrides in Joomla, may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will make this amendment for you. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Ton

News items should now open in a new window.

Hi Ciaran,

Something goes wrong. When you see this page: https://www.startwondverzorging.nl/CONTENT/index.php/26-nieuwe-producten/79-suprasorb-p-sensitive you see the newsitem (dutch) Suprasorb® P sensitive. When I click on Read more (Meer lezen) I go to the bottom of the page. When you click on the Read more (dutch) Blaar op de voet it's get a new page! And that's strange why the Suprasorb and not de Blaar op de voet.

Where have you make the override? In don't see any override in the template?

Hi Ton

It is most likely that the 'Blaar op voet' item has its's own menu item linking to it and therefore modules can be assigned/unassigned to it (in this case unassigned). The 'Suprasorb® P sensitive' item does not have its own menu item and therefore inherits the module assignment from the source menu item (https://www.startwondverzorging.nl/CONTENT/index.php/26-nieuwe-producten/79-suprasorb-p-sensitive).

If you do a search for 'joomla hidden menu items' you will find details on creating menu items to allw you to assigned/unassigned modules.

You will find the override in the html folder of your template (../templates/[YourTemplate/html)

Hope this helps.
