Hy,
I'm trying to build a multi language site using your template oxygen (comercial version). At first I used free version of oxygen and different menus for each language worked fine with language switcher and they displayed in hornav according to the language chosen. But then I purchased the commercal version and now I have this problem: in templates parameters I can now choose only one menu to display under the Hornav Menu Settings and other menus (for other languages) now don't display when I switch to another language. How can I solve this problem.

I would also like the flags of language switcher to be displayed in main menu (hornav) or above it in the right corner.

Best regards

Hi Neo

We have recently upgraded our Oxygen template to our new template framework which has some of the menus hard coded into the template rather than assigned to a mocule position. If you wish you can forward your PO number and purchasing email address info@joomla51.com and we will send you the original of the commercial version of the template which appears to suit your needs better.

Hello,

I'm also building a multi language site based on the free oxygen template, and came across the same problems as Neo. Is there a possibility to adapt the menu to the language setting and to change the positioning of the language switcher?

thanks in advance,
Hans

Hi Hans

May I suggest the following post which details how to convert the top menu area to a module position allowing you to set up a multi-language menu module as normal (Avenue template but will also apply to our Oxygentemplate).. http://www.joomla51.com/forum/support/commercial-templates/hornav-module-not-visible-in-avenue#627

An option for your language switcher is to create a new module position in the header area. For further details check out.. http://www.joomla51.com/forum/support/commercial-templates/chimera-language-switcher#2211

Thanks for the info, but I can't seem to get the menu working...

for some reason it seems to keep showing the 'main menu', and not my language menus?

I guess the template fills in a default value, so I tried searching the template files for hornav and mainmenu, and disabled the Hornav menu in the variables.php, but with no result...

I played around a bit more, and finally got it working :woohoo:

apparantly I needed to publish a 'Main Menu' module on 'All pages', but with position=''
