Module Display Issue: Displaying Stacked

Hi Ciaran,

I'm having an issue with module display. Instead of them displaying in the A, B, C, D positions, they are stacking one on top of the other. I'm using the Clarity template and have been editing the CSS but mostly tweaking padding, margins, colors and fonts. That said, it's entirely possible that I messed something else up???

There are two places where I'm having trouble... the bottom of the page where there are placeholders and a brochure which are set to display on all pages. And this page... http://50.87.144.123/~ubj/index.php/fleet. I think it will be obvious when you see. The modules are set in the A, B, C, D positions and should go across the page. I've tried several different module types and none are working as expected.

If you have a minute, could you take a look and let me know what you think?

I've emailed you Admin credentials to get in the back end.

Hi Dianne

Thank you for the access details. The issue turned out to be due to a lone semicolon, or the lack of in this case. In your template.css you had the following..


.top-1, .top-2, .top-3, .contenttop, .contentbottom, .bottom-1, .bottom-2, .base-1, .base-2 {

    float: left

    margin-top: -34px;

}


I have changed this to...


.top-1, .top-2, .top-3, .contenttop, .contentbottom, .bottom-1, .bottom-2, .base-1, .base-2 {

    float: left;

}


I removed the margin-top as it wasn't functioning and looked strange on your site when the semicolon was added.

Ah... I haven't made that mistake in a while but I did figure it was "human error" on my part. Thank you for finding the missing semicolon and putting it back where it belongs. Things look much nicer now... ~;-)
