Hi Ciaran,

I like to change the Hover color (if possible with a transparancy %) of the mod_j51news module.
If you have a css I can put it in the custom.css in the PianoForte temlate.
See the attachment for details.
Thanks a lot,
Regards, Milian

Hi Milian

Would you have a URL to an example of your module?

Thank you

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

(edit to taste)

.j51news .hover-overlay {
background-color: #aaa;
}
.newsitem:hover .hover-overlay {
opacity: .7;
}

Is it possible for the the picture to zoom in (Get bigger) on hover rather than zoom out (Get Smaller)? and can we control the amount of zoom?

Hi Ciaran,
It seems that the transform: scale (120%) only works in Firefox.
Not in Chrome and Edge (Chromium).
Do you have a workaround for it also?

Milian

Hi Milian

Chrome sometimes has an issue when using pertentages on scale. To amend try replacing the suggested CSS with the following...

.j51news .newsitem img {
transition: all ease .3s;
}
.j51news .newsitem:hover img {
transform: scale(1.2);
}
