I am having an issue with my recently developed website, links aren't linkable in the site, stock pages, links pages etc. I have tried to switch to other templates and the problem doesn't appear. Odd thing is that it works in IE9 and IE10 as well as Firefox. Is there something I am missing or could try to get this working in IE8?
I am running Joomla version 2.5.11

Hi Yvonne

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email

We have updated your template and it now appears to be working correctly in IE8.

The issue was caused by an ms-filter we used for the background image in IE8. The down side to removing this means that the background image will no longer extend to the full width of your browser when viewed in IE8.

I suspect it is the same issue with your Nocturne template as this also uses ms-filters. If you wish you can remove these manually from your templates styles.php (../templates/j51_nocturne/php/styles.php). They will look something like the following...

-ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='<?php echo $this->baseurl ?>/<?php echo $bgimagefile; ?>',sizingMethod='scale')";

Simply delete these lines from your styles.php
