I can see that the metropolis template is trying to be responsive, but it's all goofy.

Logo text doesn't resize (couldn't use the actual logo because installing this template made changes to my image gallery and it cuts off the bottom part of the logo).

All but one menu item has disappeared, and it's weird looking.

Never could get the background image to work properly.

I'm not a joomla whiz by any stretch of the imagination, so please respond like you're talking to a retarded child. I'm very very stupid.

Hello

Would you have a URL to an example of these issues?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I forgot to mention that this is when viewing the site from an android phone.

Thank you

To resize your logo on mobile devices (portrait) try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..
@media only screen and (max-width: 440px) {
h1.logo-text a {
font-size: 44px;
left: -12px;
}}
The single menu item is a dropdown that when clicked on mobile devices will bring up your full menu. I do see an issue with this however on your site as is should state 'Menu' rather than a random menu item. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

I was wondering if you figured out the issue with the menu. On my site http://bludovedemo.com/thatgirl it shows a random menu item (home) on the responsive menu.

Also I tried the suggestion here for the logo and it didn't work. The logo gets cut off on the right side. I'm very new at responsive design so I don't fully understand what I'm doing.

Please help.

Hi Bluedove

Regarding the 'home' menu item may I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

For the logo on mobile devices try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters...

@media only screen and (max-width: 440px) {
#logo {
background-color: #FFFFFF;
background-size: 300% auto;
margin: 0 10px;
}}

I will send temporary admin access.

I tried what you suggested for the code and it didn't fix it. Perhaps I didn't put it in the right place but I put it into the custom css area. maybe when you are logged in you can check to make sure I did it correctly.

Thanks

The logo CSS is now working correctly. The CSS you had added was from godeleschers query.

You have a 'Home' menu item in your 'Main Menu'. The mobile menu will list all menu items found in your main menu so appears to be working correctly.

The logo is no longer cut off but it still doesn't look right on the portrait version of the iPhone. I have attached screen shots so that you can see what I am seeing. On the landscape view everything looks great. On the portrait view it gets cut off and has weird white space on the right hand side.

Thanks

May I ask what phone/OS you are using to view your site? We have tested on an iPhone4, iPhone5 and Samsung S4 without these issues.

Thank you.

That is rather strange. I have reduced the width of your template slightly when viewed portrait on a mobile device. A bit of a shot in the dark as once again we are unable to replicate your screenshot.

Just curious are you getting a similar issue on our template demo (http://demo.joomla51.com/0098/) when viewed on your iPhone 4?
