Metropolis Background Error IE

Hi Joomla51!

I'm having an issue with the background in IE, it will not display as a fixed size and resizes and scrolls with the page based on the page length.

I have attempted to fix the issue by adding custom css to the template settings, but no luck. All is working as it should in FireFox.

I notice your demo server version also has the same issue...

Any ideas?

Hi Rick

Could you try removing the following from your templates styles.php (../templates/j51_metropolis/php/styles.php LINE242)


-ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='<?php echo $this->baseurl ?>/<?php echo $bgimagefile; ?>',sizingMethod='scale')";
