menu not working on ipad

http://tinyurl.com/of2h7c7 the menu drop downs do not work on an ipad and the left module positions appear first before the article, meaning the article is shoved to the bottom of page.

also i f you hold the ipad sideways there is a big gap between the rotating images and the article? how to reduce n ipad please?

can you please help?
