main article not shown

on my new page

I have one main article which should be shown on the mainpage.
the home-menu is a category blog.
and the main article doesn't appear on the mainpage.
so what do I wrong?

Can you confirm that the article is set to the same category as your category blog menu item?

If you only intend to display a single article your best option would be to use a 'Single Article' menu item for your home page.

ok, this is good to know.
but how is it when the home-menu links to a component? I want to show a event-component on the main page under the main article. do I have to put the "welcome main article" in the module position ContentTop-A or is there another solution?

Hello

Create a menu item to your component and set 'Default Page' for that menu item to Yes.
