Hi Marek,

this certainly can be done with custom CSS. If you provide an URL, we might be able to guide you.

Hi Rolf and Ciaran,

which permission do I have to grand to a registered user in order to enter a site under construction?
I do not want to get a warning letter, because the site does not yet have an imprint, disclaimer and privacy policy.

Thanks and regards,

Marek

Hi Marek

Give him group "Administrator", if you don't want to give him "Super User". This allows to login to a site in maintenance mode.

You'll find that under user options.

Hi Marek

You'd better not modify the standard user groups. Create a new one (i.e. "FETest" ) derived from "Registered". Grant only one additional permission: "Administrative Access". Create a new user (i.e. "fetester" ) and assign the new user group. Send username and password to me (webmaster@neudorf-mkk.de) and/or Ciaran (info@joomla51.com).

Some additional hints:

  • There is a typo in your headline; should be "Ergotherapie"
  • You might want to edit module "Breadcrumbs" to not display the module title.
  • For stuff like "Impressum", "Datenschutzerklärung", and the like I usually create a footer menu as in http://www.nickdautrich.de.
  • For "Impressum" and "Datenschutzerklärung", you might take a look at the respective generators on erecht24.de. The free version is sufficient for rather simple sites.

Hi Marek

I was able to log in to your site with the credentials sent by mail.

To reduce the extensive whitespace between the horizontal menu and the breadcrumbs, you might add the following to your custom.css

#container_header {
height: 270px !important;
}

But check if there are no negative consequences! Test!

I saw that you use Google fonts and that you load those directly from Google. That has to be avoided for GDPR (DSGVO) reasons. I have written a post in this forum about Google fonts (https://www.joomla51.com/forum/google-fonts-status-and-local-delivery). You may find the post and especially the discussion useful. It gives a number of hints how to deliver Google fonts from your own server.

In addition, take a look at the hints from my previous post.

Rolf

Hi Ciaran

After some direct contacts with Marek, I've proposed following solution for the issue:

#container_header {
height: 270px !important;
min-height: 270px !important;
}

That seems to work.

The override supersedes some "inline" declarations. Is there a configuration option for that?

Hello

Presuming I understand correctly, this may be due to a Header Min-Height set in the Body/Header Styling tab of the template style settings? As an alternative solution, try setting this to 0.

Sorry for the late response, that resolved the issue. The Header Min-Height was set to 550 in order to display the header image. When I set it to 0 the empty space is gone.
