I am trying to add an intro image to my articles displayed from a category list module. I have added the image but it does not display on the site. I see a php file called blog_item.php that shows code to retrieve the intro image but I do not see that it is called. Did I miss a setting, I could not find any place were I could select this option.

Hello

May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

I installed the News module that gave me the capability I was looking for. Now working on how to change the format of the news item, text to right of image? Seem to be missing the Flex box CSS parameters ... flex-direction: row; also no flex container?

My current installation of the template is on a development site on my local network behind a firewall. Would prefer not exposing the site to the internet unless I have to. I believe I just need to add custom CSS code to add the features or is there a setting in one of the admin screens? If the fix is not a simple one from my description here let me know and I will set up the site for internet access and provide an temporary Admin access.

Hi Greg

You should now have access to the latest download of our News module (Profile -> Extension Downloads). This latest update includes the option to set various item layout including a row based item as requested.

Thanks that provided the features I needed. Just need to look at how I keep the intro images at a smaller size, not 100% of container. Looking at setting them to a fixed size for the potion that I am placing them in (bottom-1a). Just need to get the CSS selector right and the size parameters. I assume I need to create an entry in my Custom CSS file for that unless I missed the option somewhere?

Thanks for your help. The Joomla51 templates file structure is different than I am use to with Prostar but still much easier once I figure out how to configure it. Once I get the imafge size issue resolved I think we can close this thread.

Found the image size setting that can be set in percent. My issue is resolved. Do I need to close the thread or do you do that?

:D Thanks for your assistance.
