lost image links when updating Carmen template to Joomla 4

Good day.

Yesterday I upgraded my site to Joomla 4 and the Joomla 4 version of Carmen. Everything went OK except when I updated the J3 template to the J4 template before the upgrade which is what the Joomla update process recommended the image links disappeared. I did a lot of troubleshooting with the issue so I know that the problem was updating to the Joomla 4 Carmen template.

Additional info: I used the extension Ignite Gallery to create the linked images. I already talked to the creator and he suggested recreating the galleries. There are 36 galleries which will take a long time to recreate. So, if there is a template solution, that would be a real timesaver and money saver.

Hi Mark

Do you have a URL to an example of one of your galleries? The only way a template could affect your gallery is that if it is somehow hiding it via some CSS.

The link is missing in J4 version. If you go to articles and then click the Options button then Blog/Featured Layouts Tab and make sure Linked Intro Image is set to yes.
