London Menu Background Color

I am having a problem customizing the hornav menu on the London template. It used to be so easy to customize the J51 templates and now I'm finding them to be more and more problematic and limiting.

I have tried for over an hour to change the menu to color to be transparent. I have a background image on the header and I would like it to show through the menu. However no matter what I do I am stuck with having to specify a color. I've tried rgba, I tried searching the CSS, and all to no avail.

I then thought I'd take a look at another template - Scarlett.... well - I tried just inspecting to see if I could change that one and I could as long as I didn't put an image in it and then I was again stuck with a white menu.

Please help me.

Hello

To make the hornav bar transparent you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..

#container_hornav {

    background-color: transparent;

}

I did that and it doesn't work. =( I want it so the image goes behind. When I inspect and change the color of the header it changes the nav bar too however if I add an image it doesn't work and I know the image is tall enough.

Also - I am noticing a white border between the slideshow and the top1 modules. I have tried everything to get rid of it. When I inspect and change the height of the slideshow it goes away but then when I apply that to the settings in the slideshow it's still there.
