I have uploaded my own logo using the logo.psd file provided. However, the shape is oval and the standard logo is still showing in the balackground. Is there a way to remove the standard logo from the template without messing anything up. Also, is there a way to remove the colored line at the top since these colors go with the standard logos. The bottom of my logo is being cut off a bit and I assume it is because of the standard logo that is underneath it.

Hello

The red horizontal line and banner type effect is part of the template design rather than the logo and is formed by a single image (http://www.kalays.com/templates/j51_bordeaux/images/style1/header.png). To edit this you will have to edit this image directly. You will find it located at ../templates/j51_bordeaux/images/style1/header.png from the root of your Joomla installation.
