Finally updated our site with the new free template, it's great!

However I have noticed that there is a line above the first article in the component module.

Here's my site: http://www.maumeevp.org/

Anyone have any thoughts on how I can get rid of this "image" which is what I think it is but I can't seem to locate it in firebug.

A few other questions...is there any way to change the "by Joomla51.com" so that it is bold and matches the rest of the site?

Last but not least, from the discussion board hornav, anyone have any thoughts on how I can remove the "discussion...History...4h...8h" from the page? I can't seem to find the right CSS to delete it.

Thanks!

Hi Sara

1. For the line issue try adding the following to the Custom CSS field...
#container_spacer3 {clear:both;}
2. Try also adding the following to the Custom CSS field..

#joomla51 {font-weight: bold;}

3. To remove the discuassion board items try also adding the following...
.cofiMainmenuItemRecentText, .cofiMainmenuItem {display:none;
Thanks Ciarán.

#1The spacing didn't work for the container_spacer3. Any other suggestions?

#2 worked perfectly.

#3 I was able to remove the h4, h8, h12 but I can't seem to remove the "discussion board" title. Any thoughts?

Hi Sara

1. Checking your site the line appears to be removed. Please ensure you have done a full refresh on your browser (CTRL + F5).

3. Try also adding the following..
.cofiMainmenuItemFirst {display:none;}
Thanks! I tried that in custom CSS and it didn't work but I found the original discussion.css and added that and it worked like a charm.

Would it be possible for you to tell me what color the Joomla51.com is so I can match it with the info before it. On the homepage the color looks good but whenever I go to another page it looks different.

Also, I like the way the homepage displays in Firefox with the green space between the showcase. However, it does not display that way in Explorer (see attached pictures). Is there any way to make them both consistent. Having the line makes it stand out more. I am hoping to be able to add breadcrumbs that also have that break so that we can use it as a headline option.

Is there also a way to change teh background of the bottom of the homepage so that the area where Joomla and my info is listed is green instead of gray?

Thanks again for everything, you always know just what to do!

Hi Sara

The color of the footer is ##3A3A3A.

For the gap undder your slideshow try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters..
#container_slideshow {margin-bottom: 10px;}
For the footer background change try also adding the following...
#container_base {
background: #05582C;
margin: 0 0 0 -1px;
width: 960px;
}
Thanks for the color. That worked great.

The spacing worked great. I updated to IE10 and it looks good.

The background color for the footer didn't work. If you have any other suggestions I'd be glad to try them.

Thanks again for everything!

You could also try adding the CSS to the end of your templates nexus.css (../templates/j51_oxygen/css/nexus.css)...
