At the bottom of the page, at the modules titled PRESS RELEASES-INFORMATION and COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENTS, before the title of each announcement you can see a small icon. How can I add such an icon in front of the title of the articles of my website that are under a certain category?

More specific, in my website http://www.megarevma.gr/new I have created an articles category module which is shown on the homepage and contains articles of two different categories that I have created. I want to add a small icon in front of each article so as the reader to understand if the article refers to the one category or the other.

I want the article categories list to look like the following:
{Icon from category 1} Linked title of article
{Icon from category 1} Linked title of article
{Icon from category 2} Linked title of article
{Icon from category 1} Linked title of article
{Icon from category 2} Linked title of article
......

Thank you Eri.. I believe I understand you now.

Sorry to say this is not really possible as the articles category module does set any unique class names to its items depending on their category. Adding unique icons depends on unique class names. Your only option would be to add the same icon to all the items.

A possible solution using Joomlas default module extensions would be with a menu module however your list will not be dynamic, meaning you will have to create each item manually via the menu manager.
