I created a duplicate lifestyle template in my joomla site where I have set different parameters and which I assigned to some single article menu types.
How can I assign this template to linked articles also?
This is exactly what I did. I created a copy of the lifestyle template. In the first one, under the name J51_LifeStyle - Default (which I have set as the default) I set Header Vertical Spacing=30 and in the second one, under the name J51_LifeStyle - Homepage, which I want to use only for my homepage, I have set Header Vertical Spacing=260.
When I assign the second template (J51_LifeStyle - Homepage) only to my homepage then everything works fine except from the fact that when I create a link in an article, this link leads to the linked article but it inherits the template of the homepage rather than the template I use as a default.
The whole seems to work fine with the articles assigned directly to a menu item (i.e. a single articles menu type) but it does not work with the article coming from links inside the menu linked articles.
May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.
