Hi Guido

Icons can be remove from menu items by leaving the 'Link CSS Style' blank with in the menu items parameters (Menus -> [YourMenu] -> [YourMenuItem] -> Link Type -> Link CSS Style.

Not sure if I understand your second query correctly. You wish to remove the logo completely?

hello,

was answered first thanks that the first part of my question.

with the second part, I believe that no matter what changes I make in the template settings, they will not be accepted. I mean under the menu item extensions manager - template manager. Here I take the default lifestyle and change as an example of the logo under the corresponding tab. I myself choose "No Image File" and type in text. The logo remains unchanged on the home page. Just so it is with changes in Footer / Copyright area or in any other.

Here I would still need help. Thank you!

I once set up an account and will send you here the credentials to your email address. Thank you!

Thank you

As you are using the 'demo installer' there is a number of template styles created within your template manager. These are basically different sets of template settings for the various pages throughout the demo. Editing the template style assigned to the homepage appears to be working without issue so I am taking a guess that you may have been editing the wrong template style.
