Hi,

Please could you take a look at http://www.halifaxcaravanstorageco.uk.gridhosted.co.uk on a mobile device?

The responsive template just doesn't seem quite right. I don't have a menu in either portrait or landscape.

Also, the search and the white bar beneath with the arrows either side sits on top of text.
And in landscape the logo is right over to the right hand side with unnecessary space all down the right hand side.

Would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Hi Alison

Could you check the URL provided as it is giving us a server not found error.

Thank you Alison

There has been some improvements to the responsive layout on a recent update of our Letterpress template which should amend these issues for you. To update the template simply install the latest version via your Extensions Manager.

Hi Ciarán
I thought I was using a very recent version but I have downloaded and installed the latest version on here just in case.

However the problem still remains:

In portrait:

And in landscape:

And if you scroll to the right in landscape you can see the white space to the right that is then making the logo move across to the right to centre with it:

Can you advise please?

Many thanks
Alison

Hi Alison

May I suggest re sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

Thank you Alison

Due to the wide landscape of your images your slideshow was getting hidden behind the content area of your site on smaller screen sizes. I have added the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters which hopefully has resolved the issue for you.

@media only screen and (max-width: 1080px) {
#container_slideshow {
margin-bottom: 58px;
margin-top: 30px;
}
.slidesjs-previous.slidesjs-navigation, .slidesjs-next.slidesjs-navigation {
display: none;
}}

Thank you. That is an improvement.

There is still no menu though on the responsive version?!
And there's still lots of blank space on the rhs on the landscape version making the logo in a funny position ?

Hello

As jQuery is loaded in Joomla 3.x by default I have disabled it in your slideshow modules parameters and your mobile menu is now loading correctly.

To re position your logo on tablet landscape you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters where 0px is your new horizontal position..

@media only screen and (min-width: 960px) and (max-width: 1024px) {
h1.logo a {
left: 0px;
}}
