Hi

Wherever i put custom or user css in template or media folder it never gets loaded.

templates/j51_layla/css - not loading custom or user css

media/templates/site/51_layla/css - not loading custom or user css

Please advise where to put custom/user css and what to name it.

Hello

Try updating your template to the latest download. We have just released a new update that allows better control of where the custom CSS is sourced.

Thanks, that has sorted it and custom css is loading without a problem.

However, since the template update the home page slideshow now shows all the images quickly one under each other before collapsing up making the page very jumpy on page load?? And the transitions between slides are not as smooth, they are also a bit jumpy.

*** UPDATE - i have had to restore the site and previous layla template version because the template upgrade removed my html overrides. Is there a way to update the template without losing html overrides?

Hello

To amend try adding the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

div.layerslideshow.layerslideshow {
max-height: 530px;
overflow: hidden;
}

Thanks Ciaran, that has solved it.

The slideshow still seems jumpy/flashing white between slides - is there a setting to make the transition between images a bit smoother?

Thanks Ciaran

It just flashes black instead of white now between each slider.

Any way i can add a crossover fade or something to the transition between the slide images so it appears smoother?

Thanks
