I did the tutorial for Joomla 3.0 and created seperate menu's, installed the language items, associated menu-items and even tried to copy the template with different language settings and menu assignments for each language but nothing works.
I can see the language flag beneath but when I click on a different language, nothing happens.

Thanks in advance

Hello

As your language flags are displaying, I am sorry to say it would not be a template related issue. May I suggest the following recommended articles on setting up a multi language site in Joomla...

Yeah, sorry about that.
I only needed to add copies of the same template for each menu language.

Now my flags are on the bottom of the page, but I want them in the upper right corner of the page. How can I change that?

Best regards.

Hello

Your only only would be to create a new module position for your flags in the header area of your template. For details on doing so may I suggest the following tutorial... http://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/item/creating-a-new-module-position-in-the-header-area-of-your-template
