that doesn't solve the issue. The menu still doesn't display
Save failed with the following error: The alias forum is already being used by the Forum menu item in the Kunena Menu menu.

yep, its all setup correctly, your barking up the wrong tree. The issue was that j51 does not include BS5.css so I had to turn it on in kunena
