Hi Ciaran, using Kodaline I have a problem after using the "cookie consent script" of http://www.cookiebot.com. I entered the script lines within the custom code filed of the template paramenters on each used template style. I also entered the Google Analytics Script within the custom code field of the Homepage Template Style after the Cookiebot Script lines.

Prior giving consent to save cookies at all AND when giving consent to only necessary cookies: On mobile view (phone and tablet) the mainmenu didn't open after touching the bars icon on the top right corner. It seems that the Cookiebot Script blocks not only all scripts (what it surely should do!) but also the function of opening the mainmenu.

To find a work around for the moment I left the "Google Analytics script lines" within the template paramenters homepage style, but entered the "Cookiebot script lines" into the header of the index.php of my Kodaline template.

Is there a better way to use both Scripts within the template parameters of Kodaline and make the main menu work properly? Thanks in advance! Robert

Thank you Robert

We have received your email.

Your Cookiebot script appears to be throwing a console error..

TypeError: (intermediate value).apply is not a function jquery.min.js:2:44144
jQuery 2

applyOverrideEventListeners https://consent.cookiebot.com/uc.js:1
stopOverrideEventListeners https://consent.cookiebot.com/uc.js:1

I suspect this issue is related to the version of jQuery loaded by Joomla which is quite old for modern-day standards. You could try loading a newer version of jQuery using an extension like 'jQuery Easy' (https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/jquery-easy/). Alternatively, you can try adding your Cookiebot code just before the closing body tag in your templates index.php (../templates/j51_kodaline/index/.php). This won't resolve the error but just stop it effecting or scripts... not ideal.

Thank you for the reply, Ciaran! I will try it soon. So far the site is running, so no hurries on my side.
