Kinvara template: Call to a member function get() on null if no Itemid or Itemid=0

Hello

I use JEvents and this component does send a link to the user with Itemid=0. In this case the temnplate crashes and gives Call to a member function get() on null.

Second issue: The template does not support support native Joomla! Debug output on the error page.

Any idea how to solve this?

1. Just to confirm that this is a template related issue, could you try enabling one of the default Joomla templates (Protostar) and see if the issue still exists.

2. May I suggest sending temporary administration access to your Joomla installation to info@joomla51.com and we will examine this issue further. For our reference please paste a link to this post in your email.

I have set the Protostar template as default and the problem does not exist.
