Hi I used the Kindle template for http://www.BWRSupply.com and really like how it turned out. However I built it in Firefox and when I view it in Internet Explorer 11 it has a funny behavior where if the page is not as long as the sidebar it pushes the content up so that instead of viewing the page from the top down it view it from the bottom up.

please see

For an example

Hello

We are having issues replicating your issue. We have tested your site in both IE 10 and IE 11 and it is showing the same as in Firefox. Could you possibly show us a screenshot of the issue you are having?

OK, attached are 2 screen shots of the way the page loads.

It starts correctly then moves up as in the screen shots as it finishes loading.

It definitely has something to do with the sidebar having so much info in it. As none of the pages on the Joomla51 template demo do it and a couple of pages on my site without the sidebar load properly.

Are you having the same issue if you remove the last Google map? IE tends to automatically scroll any iFrames loaded on your page, in this case the Google map.

When I remove one of the google maps then it seems to be ok.

Any idea how I may get this to work with 2 maps (iframes)?

Thanks

One option is to use some jQuery to scroll your page to top on load by adding something like the following in the 'Head Custom Code' field of your templates parameters...

<s-cript type="text/j-avascript">
$(document).ready(function () {
window.scrollTo(0,0);
});
</script>

Alternatively it may be worth posting a query to the Google map support forums on the issue.

I tried it as it as you had it written and it did not work.

Then I tried it without the hyphen thinking maybe the hyphen between s-cript and j-avascript were typos and it still does not work.

Do I have to add an onload command?

Thank you

May I suggest setting us up with temporary administration access to your Joomla installation and we will see if there is anything that can be done. Details can be sent to info@joomla51.com. Please paste a link to this post in your email for our reference.
