Hello anyone,
i have the Template kaylee on my project.
On this, the big Slideshow (header images) on Top of the Homepage is from the Template itself.
I can ad Pictures on the Site template>body/header styling.
But
1. i want use this slideshow (header images) only on the frontpage.
2. I cant add a own slideshow or picture(widgetkid) on the same place for other pages.
there is no position, were i can place it.
It is NOT the showcase-position.
3. The Pictueres does not show right at a mobile. They are to big.
I hope, you understand what i mean. My english is terrible )

hope i understand you right.
The copy of your Maintemplate must be signed to ALL other pages but not the Homepage. you can do that on the Tab Menu assignment? (in German Menüzugehörigkeit) on the page, where you style your Template.
On this copy you must delete the Picturefiles from the slideshow. Also on the page, were you style your template.
Hope you can understand this better )

For example on this page http://69.167.136.231/~microdistribut/index.php/products/urine/statcup-ii I donot want the header slide show to show at all, but when I leave the slide show blank it ends up showing the images from the home page slider even though this is a copy of the template but called as to an inside page by different name. Hope that makes sense.

You have to copy your Template and add the copie to your other pages.
Template Kaylee1 is your normal one. Duplicate it an name ist Kaylee2 and ther you can delete the files for the slideshow or add only one. So you have a fixrd picture and no show.
Sorry, my english is terrible )

Concerning the Kaylee template. What I only want the Slide Showcase that is in the template settings to ONLY show on the home page and no other pages except for certain pages? I have used menu assignment to tell it what pages to be on and still no success.
Thanks,
JT

Hi Mirko
Thank you for the update.
2. Admittedly I am still a little confused. In the demo of this template, the slideshow as set in the template settings is positioned as a background to the showcase-1# module positions. Any module positioned in showcase-1a for example, will display in this area.

Hi ciaran,
2. sorry, maybe i was unclear to you.
I mean the Position UNDER showcase 1, where your slide is positioned, that i can configure in Templates>my template>general.
This Position is not available as normal position for modules.
3. It works for android on a new phone from us, but not with iOS on my old iphone 5. Maybe it is tooo old

I want position there different single Pictures on different pages.
The problem is also, that i used a second Tejmplate-Style for all the other pages then home, but now, there is a big "hole". Only white where the slide was before. This "position" doesnt collapse like other ones.

Hi Mirko
2. Positions under the showcase-1# positions are titled top-1# (top-1a, top-1b etc.)
3. To amend you can add the following to the Custom CSS field of your templates parameters (Extensions -> Templates -> [YourTemplateStyle] -> Custom CSS)....

Hello
1. To apply template style settings to a single menu item you can create multiple template styles. For details on this subject may I suggest the following article... https://www.joomla51.com/tutorials/joomla-basics/creating-multiple-template-styles
2. For a full display of module positions in this area may I suggest the following URL.. http://www.joomla51.com/demo/0152/features/module-positions
3. Would you have a URL to an example of this issue?
