When I have a background image loaded in the Journal template (lovely one btw), only the header area shows it. The rest of the page is showing the background colour, which normally should be overridden by the image. I tried setting the background colour to transparent but it reverts to black when saved. How do I set it so that it looks like the demo version? (The site is on a MAMP server so no admin access for you.)

Hello

It is pretty hard to say without access to the issue. Would you have a screenshot of an example of the issue?

Here's what it looks like and here's a screen shot of the Styling settings for it. I played around the with transparent settings, trying to figure out what controlled what.

Thank you

Try setting the 'Outside Background' of each area of the template to 'Transparent'. I suspect your background is simply hidden from view with the backgrounds of each area of the template.
